Create your sandbox adventure
Mini World Block Art is a free-to-play 3D sandbox game that lets you go on a creative adventure. This game comes with no levels and no restrictions. What you will have is tons of fun in destruction and creation. Build a house, apartment, or even a castle. You have the creative freedom to do what you want. Mini World offers both single-player and multiplayer campaigns.
Just like Minecraft
Mini World Block Art is very much similar to yet another popular sandbox game, Minecraft. Both games have an explorable, expansive sandbox world filled with blocks, materials, and mines you can use to craft. However, Mini World comes with better graphics and even has cute monsters that you can fight.
The game comes with hundreds of available blocks that you can choose from. Moreover, it has more than a thousand game elements that you can use to express yourself and completely manipulate your world. Unfortunately, not all items are mined for free. The majority of the blocks require payment in coins, which you can get through bonuses and in-app purchases.
As mentioned, Mini World Block Art offers a single-player campaign—which, as the name suggests, allows you to create your world solo. But, if you get tired of playing on your own, you can open up your created world to your friends online and let them join you in your exploration and creation. You also have the option to join your friends in their world. Be warned, though. The game lets you boot out a friend from your room without any reason, which means you can also be booted out without prior notice.
Make your mini-games
Mini World Block Art comes with three game modes. There is the creation mode, which gives you all the resources from the start. By removing or placing blocks, you can create structures, such as a house and even a castle. You can also create mechanisms that harvest automatically or a map that plays music. In this mode, you are the master of your universe.
Of course, if you want more challenges, you can always play the survival mode. Collect resources, and build a shelter and tools to survive against monsters. If you keep upgrading and crafting, you’ll eventually have a chance to challenge the monsters in the dungeon. And you can do so alone or with friends.
But, if you ever get tired of playing both survival and creation mode, you can hop onto the mini-games. Mini World Block Art’s mini-games are not your usual game-provided short games. These mini-games are made by the players themselves.
Mini World comes with a built-in game editor, which allows the users to create various mini-games. The featured games in this mode are field-tested and hand-picked by the hardcore fans. The selection comes in different genres, including strategy, first-person shooter, and even puzzles.
Build and play
All in all, Mini World Block Art is a great addition to the growing numbers of sandbox games in the market today. While it very much mimics the concept of Minecraft, the game still brings something fresh to the table. The game offers so many activities that you don’t need mods to get any new game experience. Moreover, you can play the game in your native tongue since it comes with localization support, which has 14 languages. There are still a few caveats to go through, however—including frequent lagging and a few control issues.
